PUBLICATION– ”everything you’ve told me”

The goal is to create a narrative from these collected stories that is relatable to the immigrant child experience. 

This book is a collected anthology of all the stories my dad has told me in his life. In addition content from other media will be included to supplemement the anecdotes. The booklet will explore the confusing timeline of my dad’s life as I try to unfold it in a personal reflection.

The tone should imply a desire for answers, somberness, and open-endedness. Use of negative and positive space and obstrutction of text will be the two main elements to achieve this feel. In addition the unique construction of the book will create an uncomfortable and confusing experience for the audience while reading the book, reflecting my own feelings about the narrative

This project will create an symbol-dominant logo for Wizardry Writers that focuses on their ability to bring stories to life for users. 

Wizardry Writers provides ghostwriting services to anyone who has a story on their mind that needs telling. Services including writing, editing and publishing. Wizardry Writers can author manuscripts to SEO copy to content for your online storefront. Wizardry Writers can also connect you to artists to bring your stories to life with beautiful covers and illustrations.

The branding should be fun and creative like inspired artists, but at the same time serious and trustworthy like a respected author. Wizardry Writers want to draw in users who have ideas for stories but may not necessarily have the tools to bring it to life themselves. Every aspect of the branding should convey that Wizardry Writers is the company that can make user ideas reality. 

INTERACTIVE–Pretty for an Asian Girl

A website that educates about the objectification of Asian women through dynamic imagery and in-depth text. 

The main theme of this project are disorientation, obscurement, and a sense of uncomfortableness. While not your most traditional website it was important to me that the user feels the same sense of dread and confrontation in their viewing experience as these women do.
